Ghana Pitso Mosimane reveals what Ghanaian top clubs need to come back to CAF CL

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane outlined what Ghana Premier League top clubs need to come back to the CAF Champions league.

Speaking to Ghana’s Joy TV, the South African gaffer expressed his will to come and watch the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko (goalless draw on Sunday) one day.

“I would love to come to Ghana and watch the Super Clash. Next time, Insha Allah I’ll get an opportunity to watch Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko because I know what such a game means”, Mosimane said.

The 57-year old tactician then wen on to comment the situation of Ghanaian top clubs and point out what is required before they can come back to African football best competition.

“You need to have an organised league, TV on the league, improve the stadia. It’s not easy because of the economy but proper, smaller but decent stadia can help”, Pitso Mosimane said.

“Also, paying the players well and ensuring the players are willing to play. Create the vibe among fans and Ghanaian teams will come back to the Champions League.

“The private sector will also have to invest so you can develop your own players and bring in good players from other countries”, he concluded.
