Ligue 1 Nantes Placed Price Tag On Super Eagles Winger Too High For Olympic Marseille

With three goals and seven assists in Ligue 1, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon is a player in the eye of Olympic Marseille’s President, Pablo Longoria.

The club is expected to come with a €9m bid for Simon. But Nantes have placed a €20m price tag on the former Gent winger.

The Nigerian international has grown to become one of the most menacing players in the French Championnat and has continued to shine for the Canaries.  He recently helped Nantes to their first final in nearly three decades.

With bids expected from local clubs and teams abroad, Nantes are prepared to make the maximum gain from the move.

Leeds United and Newcastle are reportedly part of clubs interested in the winger with Newcastle looking at continuing their rebuild.

Marseille are however believed to be Simon’s choice as the allure of playing Champions League football comes with moving to the Stade Le Velodrome.
