Africa Soccer Pitso Mosimane Sharpening His Knife For Future Career

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that he will be jetting out of South Africa in the coming days to finally complete his coaching badges.

The South African tactitcian has been one of football’s busiest men over the last year and a half, having taken over the reins at the Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly, often deemed one of the hottest seats in world football.

To his credit, Mosimane has fared excellently, winning six trophies in two seasons with the Reds. And he recently reached the CAF Champions League final for the third consecutive year which he unfortunately lost to Wydad Casablanca amid controversy.

But Mosimane’s on-field exploits has meant that the completion of his coaching badges has taken a back seat.

The 57-year-old currently holds a UEFA A and UEFA B License. And he was well advanced in completing his UEFA Pro license, which has been three years in the making.

Now, ‘Jingles’ has confirmed that his stay in his home country will be shortlived as he will fly out to Morocco where he will finally complete his qualification.

I wont be staying long. I am going to Morocco to complete my Pro License. Can you believe it took three years hey – but one has to do it.” Mosimane said at his event called ‘Pitso Mosimane’s pursuit of excellence’ in Bryanston.

Al Ahly will resume domestic action on 12 June when they take on Masry Salloum in the Egyptian Cup.
