Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2022 hosts Morocco won all of their group stage games following their 1-0 victory against Senegal on matchday 3 tonight.

The Atlas Lionesses claimed all nine points along the way in this first stage of the competition.

After beating Uganda and Burkina Faso, Reynald Pedros girls have now defeated Senegal who won both of their first two games.

A goal from Ghizlane Chebbak from the penalty spot was all Morocco needed to ear the victory against Mame Cissé’s girls.

However, the defeats means nothing for the Teranga Lionesses as they have already booked their place for the quarter-finals.

The quarter-finals game are scheduled to start from Wednesday newt week.
