Percy Tau is linked with a move away from Al Ahly following compatriot Pitso Moismane’s exit from the Egyptian Premier League side.

The South African forward joined the Red Devils last summer form English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.

After having a good-performing first season in Cairo, Tau is declining in form as he is yet to score a single goal with Al Ahly in domestic competitions since November 2021.

Being a request of Pitso Mosimane, the 28-year old is now linked with a move away as the South African tactician has left his post weeks ago.

According to Voetbalbelgie, Percy Tau could return to Belgium where he plied his trade with three clubs in the past including Club Brugge.

RSC Anderlecht where he spent a season abroad before joining AL Ahly are said to be interested in signing him back.

Should the news be confirmed, the Cairo-based outfit will receive a transfer fee from the Belgian Pro League side as Tau still have two years left on his contract with them.
