La Liga president Javier Tebas says he’d like to see Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain again amid reports linking the 37-year old to Atletico Madrid.

Ronaldo wants desperately to leave Man United this summer and told club officials to let him go in case they recive a good ofer.

However, they are reluctant such is head coach Erik ten Hag who regularly repeated that Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘not for sale’.

But recent reports in Spain claim Atleti could sign the five-time ballon d’or winner this summer despite what their officials are saying on media.

Speaking to AS on Thursday, La Liga president was asked if he is for a Ronaldo combeack in the Spanish top-flight.

And he replied : “I would like to see Cristiano Ronaldo in La Liga,” as per Goal.

“Whether it is feasible or not for Atletico Madrid, I do not know. They will have to make some exits if they want to bring in this player. But to make room for a player of this level, you have to make room for some players,” he added.

According to the Daily Mail, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has told Man United officials to terminate his player’s one-year contract for him to negotiate with the club of his choice. But they’re not opened to do it as for now.
