FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FIFA U 17 WWC: Olowookere Invites 35 Players To Flamingos Camp

As the U17 Girls National Team, Flamingos begin their preparations for the 7th FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup taking place in India in the month of October, head coach Bankole Olowookere has invited 35 players to camp.

Alvine Dah-Zossu, the team captain, Faith Omilana, the starting goalkeeper, Miracle Usani, Blessing Sunday, Comfort Folorunsho, and Tumininu Adeshina, as well as midfielders Blessing Emmanuel and Taiwo Afolabi, forwards Opeyemi Ajakaye and Aminat Bello, are among those instructed to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel in Wuye, Abuja on Tuesday, August 30,

In order to get to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup this year, the Flamingos overcame obstacles posed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, and Ethiopia while winning five of their six games.

India will host the finals of the 7th FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup from October 11–30, 2022.

The Flamingos will play against Germany, Chile and New Zealand in Group B
