Arsenal claimed all three points ahead of Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening with Bukayo Saka scoring a brace to help Gunners keep their top position on Premier League table.

Liverpool are yet to launch their season as Jürgen Klopp’s men failed to secure at least a draw from their trip to London.

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for the Gunners inside 1 minute of play as Liverpool defence was caught sleeping.

Darwin Nunez brought the Reds level in the 34th minute, but the Reds failed to keep that scoreline as they conceded another goal in the additional time of the first half (45+5) scored by Bukayo Saka.

In the second stanza, Liverpool managed to equalize again as Roberto Firmino made it 2-2 in the 53rd minute.

However, the Merseyside club finally conceded a penalty in the 76th minute which Saka converted to help Arsenal win the game 3-2.

Mohamed Salah did not have a huge impact on the game and was even subbed off by Jürgen Klopp in the 69th minute.

In addition, the Reds are now 11th on Premier League table with only 10 points out of 9 games.
