Real Madrid Real Madrid Await To Be Crown La Liga Champions After Win Over Cadiz

La Liga leaders Real Madrid defeated lowly Cadiz 3-0 thanks to goals from Brahim Diaz, Jude Bellingham, and Joselu.

This victory put them within a whisker of winning a record-breaking 36th Spanish title, which they might secure later on Saturday should Barcelona lose to Girona.

Real increased their lead over second-place Barcelona to 14 points with four games left, and they now have a 16-point advantage over Girona in third.

In preparation for Wednesday’s return leg in the Spanish capital, Real manager Carlo Ancelotti rested important players including Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Antonio Ruediger, and Toni Kroos.

This was one of ten changes made to the Real lineup that earned Real a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

Real Madrid’s backup players showed that they were capable of winning the match by securing three points and ensuring that the team would eventually celebrate their La Liga triumph.

Thibaut Courtois, the goalkeeper, made his season debut during the game after missing the majority of it due to an ACL tear sustained in August.

After the interval, Real nearly lost when Courtois made an incredible reflex save in the 50th minute to repel Christopher Ramos’ point-blank shot.

Real Madrid launched a swift counterattack in response to the Belgium goalkeeper’s save.

Luka Modric found Diaz racing up the left channel, and the Moroccan midfielder finished with a perfect curling strike from the edge of the box in the 51st minute.

In the 68th minute, Diaz helped substitute Bellingham score with a neat close-range strike.

In added time, Real captain Nacho initiated a counterattack, which ended with Joselu tapping into an empty net.
