The IMC has announced a new date for Rivers United’s Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 4 match versus Dakkada FC in Uyo: Saturday, January 28, 2023.

An official letter, dated January 24, 2023, and signed by Davidson Owumi, Head of Operations – NPFL, was received by the club.

“Based on Akwa United and Dakkada FC’s use of the same stadium facility, it was unanimously resolved that the Matchday 4 fixtures be rescheduled as follows.

“Dakkada FC vs Rivers United which was billed for Sunday 29 January, will now hold on Saturday 28 January (at 3 pm).

“While the Akwa United vs Plateau United game will still hold on Sunday 29 January but with a new kickoff time of 

3 pm as against the initial 4 pm.

The IMC then mandated the affected home teams to ensure that all logistics are put in place for the games.
