The Technical Study Group (TSG) has released the list of players that qualified for the best XI of the group stage of the TotalEnergies U20 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2023.

The teenage star from Senegal, Pape Diop, is at the top of the list after catching the attention of the TSG Group with his prolific scoring form.

Diop, who has scored four goals in three games and leads the competition in scoring thus far, was voted Best Player of the Group Stage.

The Best Goalkeeper on the list is his fellow countryman Landing Badji.

For helping the Baby Scorpions get the maximum nine points in the group phase, The Gambia coach Abdoulie Bojang was honored for his leadership and named the Best Coach of the Phase.

The quarterfinals will kick off the tournament’s knockout stage on Thursday and Friday.
