Nigeria will represent Africa at the fourth IHF Men’s Emerging Nations Championship, which had its draw published by the International Handball Federation.
Teams are ranked based on their performance in IHF tournaments, continental competitions, and IHF events throughout the last few years.
Following four years of difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic, the competition will return in 2023 and be held in Varna, Bulgaria, from April 25–30.

Nigeria, Azerbaijan, and host Bulgaria will all play in group D, according to the draw.
