South African gianst Mamelodi Sundowns are thorugh to the CAF Champions League semi-finals following their 2-1 victory over CR Belouizdad on Saturday afternoon.

The Brazilians did the great part of the job in Tunisia last week where they won the first leg by 4-1.

That comfortable advantage gave them more calm going into the second round.

At Loftus Versfeld today, Rulani Mokwena’s men conceded a goal early as Sofiane Bouchar indiez 24 minutes before they equalized thanks to their skipper Themba Zwane in the 45th minute.

Belouizdad had the chance to score other goals but they were not realistic in front of the net and got punished behind.

Thapelo Morena netted the winner for Sundowns four minutes later and sent the Dstv Premiership side into the tournament’s semi-finals.
