After an outstanding performance, against South Africa, Senegal secured their FIFA U17 World Cup ticket and sealed their place in the African Cup of Nations AFCON U17 semi-final in Algeria.
The Amajimbos of South Africa lost to the Senegalese’s firepower after struggling for 30 minutes and giving up 3 goals in 10 minutes.
Senegal took a commanding lead thanks to two own goals scored by South African defenders William Rennecke and Wallis in the space of two minutes (36′ and 38′).

Senegal advanced in the competition after Omar Sall added two goals to Ibrahima Sadio’s third-minute game-winner to make it 5-0.
