Chelsea Pochettino Is Returning To The Premier League As Chelsea Manager

According to reports, Chelsea will soon choose Mauricio Pochettino as their manager.

The former Tottenham manager and the Blues have reached a contract agreement, according to reports in various media outlets on Saturday night.

At the conclusion of the season, the 51-year-old Argentinean would succeed Frank Lampard, who was serving as interim manager.

The club has not provided a confirmation. Chelsea has been contacted by the PA news agency.

Graham Potter was fired by Chelsea in April after just seven months of his five-year contract due to a run of poor performance, and the club is now looking for a new full-time manager.

Despite Lampard’s interim appointment as manager, the squad’s problems have persisted, and they currently sit 11th in the Premier League. Lampard previously led the team from 2019 to 21.

Pochettino is available after leaving Paris Saint-Germain last summer. He guided Tottenham to the 2019 Champions League final before being fired later that year.
