CAF Champions League Aucho in Yanga SC squad to face USM Alger despite ban

Young Africans (Yanga SC) have named midfielder Khalid Aucho in their squad for the return leg of the Caf Confederation Cup final against USM Alger on Saturday.

The Ugandan star was not involved as the Jangwani-based giants suffered a 2-1 first-leg defeat against the Algerian outfit and was supposed to miss the return leg owing to disciplinary issues after picking six yellow cards.

According to Caf regulations, when a player picks six yellow cards, he is required to miss two consecutive matches. Aucho’s five cards were picked in the Confederation Cup from the group stage and one in the preliminary stages of the Caf Champions League against Al Hilal.
