Nigeria Premier League Super Six Playoffs: Enyimba Claims First Win Against Lobi Stars

Enyimba International won its opening match in the present Nigeria Premier League Super Six on Monday, edging Lobi Stars 1-0.

Endless fireworks were seen during the game at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena as both teams attempted to outsmart one another.

Emeka Obioma, the league’s leading scorer, scored The People’s Elephant’s much-needed goal in the 16th minute after Enyimba had taken the lead in the first frame.

Although Lobi Stars entered the second half stronger, they were unable to overcome Enyimba, whose defense appeared to be better.

At the end of the day, Enyimba ran away with a 1-0 victory, despite Lobi Stars’ best efforts to score the equalizer. Enyimba drew 2-2 with Remo Stars on Saturday, giving them four points from two games.
