Transfers Chelsea outcast Aubameyang a target for two Saudi clubs

Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could end his stay in the Premier League with two Saudi Arabia league clubs eying for his services.

According to Sports Zone, the 33-year-old Gabon international is nearing agreements with two Saudi Arabian clubs and is therefore close to leaving the Stamford Bridge club after just one year. Sports Zone further reported an agreement on a pre-contract with the Saudi Private Investment Fund is close to being found and the former Arsenal captain would join either Al-Ahli Saudi FC or Al-Shabab FC.

Aubameyang was recruited to Chelsea at the specific request of Thomas Tuchel late last summer, before the German was unceremoniously fired by the Blues, leaving him out of favour at Stamford Bridge

Aubameyang’s final appearance of the season was against Arsenal when he suffered the embarrassment of being substituted at half-time after a poor display. The striker scored just three goals for Chelsea in the 2022-23 season.
