Serie A Rabiot Signs Contract Extension With Juventus Till 2024

Juventus announced on Tuesday that Adrien Rabiot had extended his contract by one year, taking it until 2024.

Following his greatest season since joining Turin from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019, France midfielder Rabiot allegedly decided to stay in Turin and would reportedly earn a net salary of seven million euros next season.

The 28-year-old was one of Juve’s few shining stars throughout a difficult campaign that ended with no victories and a seventh-place finish in Italy’s premier division.

He set up six additional goals for Juventus in addition to his career best of 11 goals, and he played a key role in France’s World Cup success.

Juve’s poor league performance was the result of a 10-point deduction for illegal transfer activity, and Rabiot has chosen to remain at a team that may not play in Europe next season despite being selected for the Europa Conference League.

Because Uefa believes the Turin giants misled the organization that governs European football when negotiating a “settlement agreement” to resolve Financial Fair Play violations, the giants might be barred from playing in Europe for an entire season.
