AFCON U23 TOURNAMENT AFCONU23: Egypt Vs Mali Preview, Confirmed Line Ups

Egypt, the defending champion, will face Mali in the Grand Stade de Tanger Stadium in the second Group B of the AFCONU23 tournament.

The young Pharaohs had bad luck in their first game, but we have faith that they won’t let us down now.

Each team has defeated the other once, winning both games with a goal apiece.

They started their adventure by losing to debutant Mali in a scoreless draw.

Egypt played well but failed to take use of their opportunities.

The young Pharaohs took seventeen shots at goal and struck the woodwork four times.

One of the few teams to represent Africa in the Olympics in 2020 was Egypt, which has always been one of the continent’s best teams.

Brazil eliminated Egypt from the competition in the quarterfinals. They have been outstanding ever since, going 13 games without a loss.

The men of Badra Alou Diallo began this campaign by defeating the 2011 champions Gabon (3-1).

After a goal was reversed, Mali was too powerful for their adversary to lose (3-1).

For a team that is primarily made up of players from France, it was a fantastic start.

Mali currently has the league lead after to their resounding victory in the opening match.

Mali will be eager to show the young Pharaohs they can compete, and we are hoping for a solid game from them.
