Spanish winger Marco Asensio has been signed by French Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window.

Asensio signed a three-year contract to move from Real Madrid to the French champions.

After his contract with Los Blancos (the whites) expired, he joined the Parisians.

The 27-year-old played for Real Madrid from the 2013–14 season to the 2022–23 campaign.
On their Twitter account, Paris Saint-Germain announced the signing.

“Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the signing of Marco Asensio.

“The Spanish forward joins the Parisian club on a three year deal through to 2026,” the club Tweeted
In 31 Laliga games last season, Asensio amassed nine goals and six assists.

Real Madrid earned 78 points from 38 games to place second in La Liga.

After 38 games, Paris Saint-Germain had a total of 85 points and had previously won the French League.
