Remo Stars has advanced to the finals of the maiden edition of the Naija Super 8 tournament following a 2-1 victory on Friday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Dela Akorli and skipper Nduka Junior each scored goals to clinch a place in the championship game.
Even though Lobi’s Joseph Atule was on target, it was simply a consolation goal.

In the 22nd minute, Akorli gave Remo the lead by jabbing the ball home from an Isaac James lob.
Junior’s nod of a Sodiq Ismail free kick gave Remo a 2-0 lead just two minutes into the second half.
On the 61st minute, Atule scored a penalty kick for Lobi to make it 2-1.
On Sunday, Remo will compete against either Sporting Lagos or Akwa United.
