Africa Soccer Cristiano Ronaldo sends condolences to Morocco’s earthquake victims

Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has shared the pain of Morocco’s earthquake victims by sending them his condolences on social media.

According to reports, more than 2000 found death in this 6.8 magnitude earthquake which hit the North African country on Friday night.

With some roads blocked and the country being in a mourning state, the AFCON 2023 matchday 6 qualifier which was scheduled between Morocco and Liberia on Saturday afternoon has been postponed by Confederation of African Football.

So far, many footballers are sending their thoughts to the Moroccans and Cristiano Ronaldo who played with Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi at Real Madrid, is the latest to show support to the Atlas Lions country.

“My deepest condolences to the families and friends of all those who lost their lives in the earthquake in Morocco”, Ronaldo wrote on Instagram.

“Sending love and prayers to all in Morocco at this very difficult time.”

Later on Saturday evening, Morocco national team players were invited to donate blood for the needy injured.
