Nigeria NFF Approves N14 Billion For Spending In 2024

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has allocated more than 14 billion naira for spending in 2024.

The NFF Congress authorised the total amount of N14,494,469,293.00 (Fourteen Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety-Four Million, Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Naira) during its 79th Annual General Assembly on Sunday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Congress approved the Nigeria Football Federation’s 2024 Budget proposal of the sum of N14,494,469,293.00 (Fourteen Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety-Four Million, Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand and Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Naira) only,” the federation said in a press statement.

Additionally, the Nigeria Football Federation Executive Committee, headed by Ibrahim Musa Gusau, received a vote of confidence from the congress.

The Super Falcons Coach Randy Waldrum’s contract with the federation expired in August after he guided the side to the Round of 16 of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The Congress was noticeably mute on the matter.

The federation also remained silent over the use of the 2023 budget.
