Ghana Kurt Okraku re-elected Ghana FA President for second term

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has been reelected as President of the Ghana Football Association during the Elective Congress in Tamale in the Northern region Ghana.

Simeon-Okraku stood unopposed, but the one hundred and twenty (120) delegates present voted to retain him as head of Ghana football’s governing body.

He polled 117 votes (representing 97.5%) of the total votes cast with two delegates voting against his retention as one other delegate abstained.

Dr. Ransford Abbey (12), Frederick Acheampong (11), Nana Sarfo Oduro (10), James Kwesi Appiah (10) and Kingsley Osei Bonsu have been elected as Premier League representatives on the Executive Council.

Mark Addo, Gideon Fosu, Eugene Nobel win Division One League slots on Executive Council.

In addition, Gifty Oware Mensah Aboagye will represent Women’s football on the next Executive Council after she received massive endorsement by the twenty Women’s Premier League Clubs on Thursday.
