Simon won the prize with a vote total of 39.67%, defeating three other competitors. Pedro Chirivella (20.75%), Marcus Coco (10.98%), and Florent Mollet (28.6%) are the players he defeated to win the honour.
In his ten league games this season for the Canaries, the 28-year-old has contributed four assists and two goals.
Simon is anticipated to be a member of the Super Eagles team when they play Zimbabwe and Lesotho in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying round.
