Nigerian Players abroad Simon Wins Nantes Player Of The Month Of October Award

The October Player of the Month award goes to Moses Simon, a forward for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, who plays for Nantes.

The Nigerian international made four appearances and contributed one assist for Nantes during the month.

Simon won the prize with a vote total of 39.67%, defeating three other competitors. Pedro Chirivella (20.75%), Marcus Coco (10.98%), and Florent Mollet (28.6%) are the players he defeated to win the honour.

In his ten league games this season for the Canaries, the 28-year-old has contributed four assists and two goals.

Simon is anticipated to be a member of the Super Eagles team when they play Zimbabwe and Lesotho in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying round.
