Zimbabwe and Rwanda settled for a goalless in their opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.
In a keenly contested game at the Estadio Huye in Rwanda, both teams failed to make their chances count.
Zimbabwe who were suspended from all FIFA competition due to government interference gave a good account of themselves in Rwanda which will also serve as their home ground in the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier.

With the goalless draw both teams currently top Group C which also have Nigeria, Lesotho, South Africa who will be in action on Thursday.
