We are talking with Rapha Varane and with Anthony Martial,” the boss said at his press conference on Thursday.

“And we have triggered the options on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Hannibal.”

“I think that is an internal discussion between the club and the player,” he said in response to a question about Varane and Martial’s circumstances.

Wan-Bissaka, who joined the Reds in the summer of 2019, previously played 175 games for Crystal Palace.

Lindelof, who came to United from Portuguese team Benfica in 2017, is just one game away from reaching the 250-match milestone for the team.

Hannibal was brought in from Monaco to our young ranks, and this season he made a name for himself in the starting lineup.
