The Premier League team announced on Friday that Germany defender Thilo Kehrer has left West Ham United to join AS Monaco on a season-long loan with the possibility of a permanent transfer.
Since joining the Londoners in August 2022 from Ligue 1 winner Paris St. Germain, Kehrer, 27, has made 50 appearances for the team.
He has only made 12 appearances in all competitions this season for a team that is presently sixth in the Premier League, therefore he is surplus to requirements and has fallen out of favour.
Kehrer is eager to be considered for the European championship in Germany later this year, having not played for his nation since June of last year.
In Ligue 1, Monaco is in third place, seven points off of leaders PSG and five ahead of Nice.
