With 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) looming up in the corner, Africa Top Sports provides you a ranking of the all-time top scorers of the tournament including Samuel Eto’o and Didier Drogba.

The former Cameroonian forward played six Africa Cup of Nations donning the Indomitable Lions jersey.

Eto’o who has 29 AFCON appearances during his career is till date the highest scorer in the competition’s history with 18 goals.

Legendary Ivory Coast striker Laurent Pokou is second on the list with 14 goals.

Only Ghana’s Andre Ayew and Cameroon’s Vincent Aboubakar are still active players among the 13 players below.
