Transfer window Lamine Diack Joins Colorado Rapids On Loan From Nantes

Lamine Diack of Senegal has signed for the Colorado Rapids on a six-month loan from FC Nantes in France, with the possibility of a permanent deal.

The club made the loan announcement on Thursday, and it will expire in July 2024.

We are incredibly happy to bring Lamine to the club,” Rapids head coach Chris Armas said in a news release.

“He is a young, physical player who we believe fits our system quite well. We are excited to welcome him to the team.”

Senegalese-born Diack, 23, has a deal with FC Nantes in Ligue 1 of France.

The defensive midfielder previously competed with MKE Ankaragucu, the 2022 Super Lig champion, in Turkey.

He scored once in six games for Ziraat Turkiye Kupasi in addition to his two goals in 26 matches overall.

When Senegal advanced to the final of the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, Diack competed at the international youth level.
