Congolese striker Cédric Bakambu has signed a new contract with Spanish club Real Betis. The news was made official overnight.
The Spanish club had entered into advanced negotiations with Galatasaray to finalize the transfer of the 32-year-old striker.
The two managements finally reached an agreement around compensation of €5 million. The player ultimately only played 6 months in Turkey, enough time to score 2 goals in 16 matches in all competitions.
He returned to Spain and its championship in which he had shone under the colors of Villarreal.
