Nigeria Nigeria Govt Host Super Eagles Players, Officials To A Breakfast

The Super Eagles players and officials were hosted to a breakfast on Tuesday after they arrived Nigeria from AFCON 2023 which was hosted by Ivory Coast on Monday night.

The three-time African champions who had won the silver medal for the sixth time lost to the hosts, the Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire, who defeated Nigeria 2-1 on Sunday night in Abidjan to win the AFCON trophy.

The Super Eagles players that landed late last night will head back to their respective clubs and return in March 2024 for another international tournament.

Key players including Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Kenneth Omeruo, Joe Aribo and Williams Trost Ekong are at a welcome breakfast at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, according to Vanguardngr.com

The players and officials are expected to be received by Nigeria president, Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock.
