England Bellingham predicts ‘amazing future’ for wonderkid Kobbie Mainoo

Kobbie Mainoo had a sensational full debut for England against Belgium in such a away that he got applause from the Wembley Stadium and praises from Jude Bellingham after the game.

The Three Lions snatched a hard-fought 2-2 draw against the Belgian Devils thanks to a late Bellingham goal which rescued them after the 0-1 loss to Brazil few days ago.

But the player who made the best impression all along the game was Kobbie Mainoo, the 18-year old who grabbed the “Man Of The Match” award for his first England start.

His partnership with Bellingham and Declan Rice in the midfield has been special and he is now a real candidate for a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euros in June.

Speaking on his performance after the game, Jude Bellingham said the Man United wonderboy should be ta protected.

“He was good tonight”, the Real Madrid star told Channel 4.

It’s difficult. I’m speaking like the old head here, but I know how hard it can be when there’s a clamour and people put a lot of pressure on you, so I don’t want to add to fuel to the fire. But he’s definitely a brilliant player and he’s going to have an amazing future at Man Utd and hopefully for England as well.”
