Conor Gallagher’s goal and Palmer’s penalty kick gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead in just twenty minutes.

Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes scored goals just before halftime, and Garnacho scored another in the 67th minute to swing the score in the visitors’ favour.

But in the last seconds, Palmer scored Chelsea’s second penalty shoot and sent Stamford Bridge into a frenzy as Chelsea moved up to 10th place.

Palmer also fired a deflected ball into the net to hand Chelsea a vital win as the team continue to push for a European competition place.
