UEFA UEFA Fine Barca For Racism Acts During PSG Game

Barcelona was punished for acts of racism and other misbehaviour by their supporters during the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal matchup against Paris St. Germain.

Apart from the bigotry, Uefa also accused Barcelona’s supporters of setting off pyrotechnics and causing harm at the Parc des Princes.

The Spanish team will be fined 32,000 euros, or £27,000.

Barca eliminated from the Champions League after winning 3-2 in Paris but losing 4-1 at home on Tuesday in the rematch.

Barcelona’s punishment for the racist actions included a fine and a ban from selling away tickets to their supporters for their next match in a Uefa competition.

However, the suspension is deferred for a year.

In order to resolve the damage caused by fans inside the stadium, Barcelona must also get in touch with Paris St-Germain, who will play Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semifinals, within 30 days.
