Nottingham Forest Everton Luton

Nottingham Forest bemoaned the fact that their remarks to the PGMOL was not taken into account before their game against Everton (0-2) on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

Both teams are fighting against relegation and need points to keep their Premier League safety chances alive.

Unfortunately, Nottingham Forest which have many African players in it’s squad (Ola Aina, Nigeria, Ibrahim Sangare, Ivory Coast and Moussa Niakhate, Senegal) lost the game 2-0 away.

However, the West Bridgford did not appreciate the “poor refereeing” all along the game and made it known on social media after the game.

“Three extremely poor decisions – three penalties not given – which we simply cannot accept. We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times. NFFC will now consider its options”, the club statement reads.

Nottingham are currently 17th on Premier League table with 4 games remaining for the end of the season. They only have one point (26) than 18th-based side Luton.
