Ghana head coach Otto Addo has thus expressed satisfaction in the performance of his team in their big win against Madagascar. Goals from Mohammed Kudus, Felix Afena-Gyan and Osman Bukari saw Ghana make light work of the visitors.

After the game, Otto Addo lauded Madagascar’s goalkeeper for his brave first half performance while crediting his team for a good display.

Good goalkeeper. I didn’t count the number of shots on goal but he had some good saves. We created chances so I’m happy.” Addo said at the post-match press conference

But this is football. Not all shots will go in. In all, I was satisfied. Even though it was 0-0, there was not much I could say. They just had to keep playing that way.”

The Black Stars will travel to the Central African Republic for the next game of Group E on Sunday.

It’s Otto Addo’s first victory as head coach of the Black Stars when he guided the four-time African champions to a resounding win over Madagascar.

Otto, a former Ghana international, supervised his third game in charge as Black Stars head coach, with his previous two ending in draws against Nigeria in the World Cup play-offs. His third game in charge will be the charm as an inspired performance from the four-time African champions ensured Otto Addo will chalk his debut win as coach of his native nation.
