Basket-ball Basket-Ball : Discovery- Larry Sanders, the hidden treasure of Bucks -Video-

At his 16, he had not always touched a basketball. At his 24, he is just the second great defender of NBA behind Serge Ibaka.

Such is, simplified, the incredible path of Larry Sanders, the pin (pivot) in his third year in the league after his draft in 2010.

“Sometimes, I am chosen to play at the break time because I am tall. But my team lost the first match and after that, nobody has chosen me no more. I was not good not at all.” He conceded to Lee Jenkins of Sports Illustrated.

For his first match when he was in high school of Port St Lucie, Larry goes by the bad side and scores a goal… to inimical team. But his coachs do not lose hope and restart the film since the start. It was important to start from new.
“They were so patients with me. They were never frustrated. They show me how to play.” He said.
