This is a big blow to South Africa! Midfielder Kamogelo Mokotjo  will not be part of the Bafana Bafana squad travelling to Morocco on October 11, 2013 in an international friendly match.

However, Coach Gordon Igesund is not inclined to replace the player to avoid any delay in visa replacing.

“I have decided not replace him because we are playing away. If I had to bring in another player, we would have to organize a visa which might take a while. The players might arrive in Morocco on Wednesday or Thursday, and there really is no point in all that. I believe the players I have already will do the business for South Africa,” said Bafana Bafana manager.

Kagisho Dikgacoi, also injured on Friday in his club Crystal Palace’s training, will not be part of the Igesund squad.

Bafana Bafana departs for North Africa tonight (Monday, 07 September) at 21h45.

Kickoff is at 19h00 local time in Morocco (21h00 South African time).
