Africa Ghana: Kotoko players not paid two months of salaries

kotkoAfricatopsports can confidently confirm that Opoku Nti-led Interim Management Committee has not paid Asante Kotoko playing body’s salaries for the past two months.
Despite winning all four matches in the start of the season, Didi Dramani and his charges have not received any payment whatsoever. Unlike the past season which saw the Porcupine Warriors drawing all their four opening matches, this season has gone well for Kotoko but without reflecting in their pockets.
The situation a source confirms has brought worries on the playing body as they are to trek to battle Inter Allies on Sunday before playing home to Sekondi Hasaacas.
The source says the new IMC is working on paying winning bonuses and have promised to double them if the team amasses all 15 points to appease sponsors MTN, who suspended payment following the departure of former Chief Executive Officer Dr. KK Sarpong from the club. Didi Dramani’s side are the only side with a 100 percent winning start as they sit at the summit of the log, three points clear of rivals, Hearts of Oak
