Africa World Cup U-17/Nigeria: Garba “I’ve never played a match with this team without scoring a goal”

imagesCoach Manu Garba of the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria commends the attacking prowess of his troupe which held in check Uruguay 2-0 in the quater-finals after having thrashed Iran (4-1) in the second round of the Fifa U-17 World Cup currently in full swing at United Arab Emirates.

The Eaglets coach very delighted released earlier that his attack was blistering. This time the manager says without fear that nobody can prevent Taiwo Awoniyi and co from scoring goals after having revealed that he never played a match with his men without scoring.

“I believe at this stage I have an attack that’s blistering,” said the Nigerian. “If you stop one player another can come from another angle and score. We have lots of options.

“I’ve never played a match with this team without scoring a goal. It will take a good defence to stop us from scoring.”
