The Swiss-based Ghanaian midfielder of FC Sion Ishmael Yartey is in currently in great shape in the club he joined last summer.

Being involved in the FC Sion’s 2-1 win over Grasshopers and also the 3-o domination on Luzern makes the Balck Stars midfielder dream of a possible recall to the squad of Kwesi Appiah ahead of their World Cup 2014 Playoffs’ second leg against Egypt next month.

“I am working extremely hard here and I believe my hard work will pay off,” Yartey told Asempa FM

I am performing well for my team (FC Sion) and I wouldn’t be surprised if I get a call-up to the national team.”
