Frank Lampard has been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the Month award following Chelsea run of form since the Premier League restart.
Lampard led Chelsea to three win and one loss as rhis month’s award also factors in the March fixtures which took place before the league was suspended due to COVID-19.
Chelsea thrashed Everton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in March.
Upon the league return, Lampard guided Chelsea to a 2-1 victories at Villa Park, as Christian Pulisic came off the bench, and the netted the equaliser before Giroud completed the turnaround.
Against Man City, Chelsea produced an impressive performance to hurt Pep Guardiola a they won 2-1 courtesy of Willian spot kick.
The win handed Liverpool the title as they will not have to wait till end of the season.
This is Lampard’s third Manager of the Month nomination in his first season in charge of Chelsea.
He won the award October 2019 when Chelsea won all their games in the month.
Other managers nominated this time around are Steve Bruce, Nuno Espirito Santo and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Only the Chelsea boss is the only manager to have secured maximum points from those available.
The Barclays Manager of the Month award will be announced next Friday 10 July. Voting closes at 6pm on Monday 6 July.
