Premier Soccer League Rulani Mokwena evokes his first training session with Sundowns

Rulani Mokwena discusses his very first training with Mamelodi Sundowns. As he made his come-back in the club on Wednesday.

He is a “son” of Mamelodi Sundowns. Even though he left the club in 2017, Mokwena did not hesitate to answer Brazilians’ call as they bribg him back to Pretoria.

Talking to the club official website, Mokwena said his first trainin,g was really fantastic. As he met familiar faces which welcomed him very well.

“My first session was fantastic, I received a warm welcome from everyone, the coaches, staff and players welcomed me very well,” Rulani said.

“The training session was very well organised, the players gave me the same respect that I had before I left. Seeing the familiar faces like Hlompho, Denis, Themba, Kennedy is always exciting.”

Moreover, Mokwena revealed reasons which easy his back to home.

“I’ve come back to a familiar environment with familiar faces. An environment that has kept its ethos of professionalism, hard work, success and the drive to want to be the most competitive and the most successful club on the continent…” he added.

Rulani Mokwena will form a duo with Sundowns manager Pitso Mosimane at the head of the club.
