Malang Sarr has penned a five-year contract with English Premier League side Chelsea as a free agent following the end of his contract with OGC Nice.

The Franco-Senegalese defender had been free for a few weeks and his departure from Nice. Mentioned all over Europe, it was finally in Chelsea that Sarr landed.

A contract for the next 5 seasons. Trained at OGC Nice, Sarr took part in 119 matches with the Côte d’Azur club for 3 goals. He will be on loan for next season.

Sarr therefore joins Ziyech, Werner, Chilwell among the club’s recruits. Thiago Silva and Kai Harvetz are expected.
