Transfer window Chelsea table second bid for Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy

Chelsea are keen on landing Rennes and Senegal shot-stopper Edouard Mendy as the Stamford Bridge outfit have reportedly tabled another bid.

According to Goal, the Blues have made an offer of 20 million euros to the Rennes leaders for the Senegalese goalkeeper. This is the second offer from Chelsea which saw the French club reject a first proposal a few days ago.

For the moment, says Goal , the Rennes leaders have not yet responded. It remains to be seen whether they want more. In any case, they will not lose anything if they sell Mendy to Chelsea at this price, when we know that the 1m97 goalkeeper joined Rennes last summer for only 4 million euros. The Senegalese international is linked with the Breton club until June 2023.
