Foot Africa Gabon : Controversy Within The Team Of The Panthers

They were absent at the last camping of the Panthers of Gabon. Especially on the occasion of the friendly match against Benin (0-2). But this time, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mario Lemina will be present with Gabon for the double header against Gambia. Games to take place on 13 and 16 November for the 2021 AFCON playoffs. Except that some presences are already worrying much.

In fact, according to Football 365, a mission order from the Gabonese Federation appearing on social networks includes brothers of the two stars of Arsenal and Fulham, Willy Aubameyang, Catalina Aubameyang and Kevin Lemina in the official delegation of the Panthers. The latter are also in charge of the Ministry of Sports and thus the Gabonese taxpayer. This raises controversy.

Our colleagues added that neither the Fégafoot nor the staff members were aware of their presence in the delegation. Worse, the fact that they are there during this Covid-19 pandemic period does not make coach Patrice Neveu happy.

It remains to see whether this situation is likely to allow the Panthers to calmly prepare the two games.
