After maintaining the suspense, Augustin Senghor made his candidacy for the CAF official on Monday at a press conference.

Senegalese Football Federation President, Senghor now wants to preside over the fate of African football for the next four years. For this, he applied for the presidency of the CAF. During this meeting with the press, he unveiled his great ambitions.

“I am ready to respond to the call of Africa and its football, for an exciting and continental challenge. I am ready to raise it with the deep conviction that we must create a positive dynamic, symbolized by a supportive executive committee working (…) in the interest of African football.” Revealed the president of the FSF relayed by APS.

Augustin Senghor is now the 5th candidate in the CAF elections after Ahmad Ahmad, Ahmed Yahya, Patrice Motsepe and Jacques Anouma.
