( NPFL) club Kano Pillars veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali started for the team ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game against ASC Jaraaf.
Ali who is known as ‘Pele’ was handed a starting berth ahead of the game by Kano Pillars new head coach Emmanel Lionel.
The Ma SuGida side tackle Senegalese side ASC Jaraaf on the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup in Dakar.
Lionel who recently took over as head coach of the NPFL club released his squad list ahead of the game.
